Every piece of genuine alabaster carries its own tone, translucency and natural veining. For selected custom orders, we offer a veining selection service that allows you to choose the general visual direction of your stone-from soft and subtle to rich and dramatic.
Alabaster is not a printed surface or manufactured pattern. Its veining, clouding, color depth, and translucency vary from piece to piece.
Rather than using completely random stone selection, Pure Alabaster gives customers the opportunity to select a preferred veining range before production begins. Our team then reviews available alabaster materials and selects stone that best follows your chosen direction.
This process gives you greater control over the final appearance while preserving the natural individuality of genuine alabaster.
Minimal Movement
A clean and quiet alabaster appearance with very subtle natural movement. Ideal for calm, understated interiors and spaces where a softer material expression is preferred.
Gentle Veining
Delicate natural veining with a soft, refined look. This option adds visible stone character while maintaining an airy and balanced appearance.
Moderate Veining
A natural middle range with visible texture, soft contrast, and balanced movement. Suitable for most residential interiors and custom lighting projects.
Pronounced Veining
Stronger veining and deeper tonal variation create a more expressive stone surface. This option works well when the fixture is intended to stand out as a visual feature.
Bold Natural Movement
The most expressive veining range, featuring bolder movement, stronger contrast, and a more distinctive natural stone presence. Ideal for statement pieces and larger custom projects.
Veining selection allows you to choose the overall character of the alabaster, but it does not mean the final stone will match a sample image exactly.
Because alabaster is a genuine natural material, each piece will have its own unique markings, tonal shifts, opacity, and light transmission. These natural differences are expected and are part of the beauty of the stone.
Our goal is to select alabaster that follows your preferred direction as closely as possible while maintaining the authenticity of the material.
Alabaster veining selection is part of our custom service.
Once the selected veining direction is confirmed and production begins, the order will be treated as a custom order. Natural variations in veining, tone, clouding, and translucency are not considered defects and cannot be used as a reason for cancellation, return, or exchange after production has started.
